Location: Sales Service Distribution Associates Academy Location (Not to exceed 50-Mile Radius)
TITLE: Ad Hoc SSDA Instructor – Current level/ Rotational Basis AS NEEDED.
SCHEDULE: 8:00-16.50 W/30 MIN LUNCH – N/S SAT/SUN
PERSONS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY: DISTRICT WIDE Any career status Window Clerk employee from the list below who has one year of continuous service is eligible to apply.

FUNCTIONAL PURPOSE: Instructs new SSDA craft employees in work methods, procedures, skill requirements, duties, and Responsibilities of position and work assignments. of classroom instruction using mock retail units, equipment, and materials. Classes are conducted as needed

· Concurrence from Postmaster/Manager
· Satisfactory Attendance Record
· Satisfactory Safety Record
· Satisfactory Work Record (no live discipline)

*Please note this is not a form 50 position. AD-HOC INSTRUCTORS as needed on a rotational basis.
Selected Instructors will be trained in instructional methods and coaching skills and two days of FST (Facilitator Skills Training), before they are utilized as trainers. They must successfully complete specified courses and upon the recommendations and approval of an Employee Development Specialist, the employee will be issued a certificate of completion of training.
